I became passionate about deprescribing when I was caring for my own parents.
I saw how quickly medications could pile up, and how overwhelming it was for families to get clear answers about what was truly necessary. Each medication had a purpose, but together, they often created confusion, side effects, and uncertainty.
I remember wondering...
Is all of this really necessary?
Is this why they don’t feel like themselves?
That experience completely changed how I practice pharmacy. I realized that no one was stepping back to look at the whole person, only the prescriptions, and families were left carrying the uncertainty.
Today, I help families step back, look at the full picture, and make thoughtful, evidence-based decisions about medications, so their loved ones can age with greater clarity, safety, and quality of life.
WiseMedRx was born from a simple but urgent question:
“Why doesn’t my loved one seem like themselves anymore?
Could medications be part of the problem?”

Medications added, but rarely reassessed
Long, complicated medication lists with unclear instructions
Families trying to manage 10–20 medications a day
Increasing risks of falls, confusion, and preventable side effects
WiseMedRx exists so families don’t have to navigate this alone.
My work focuses on deprescribing – an evidence-based approach to safely reducing medication burden, lowering risk, and improving quality of life.

Many people worry that working with someone like me means they’ll be pushed toward “alternative” care or a long list of supplements.
That's not my goal.
My Philosophy Is Simple

Not anti-medication. Just intentional.
Medications can be lifesaving. But they should be carefully evaluated and right-sized over time.

I help you understand what each medication is doing, how it’s working together, and whether it’s still needed.

I care about how someone feels day-to-day — energy, clarity, stability, independence — not just prescriptions or lab values.

We don’t just respond to side effects — we proactively reduce risk and support better outcomes long-term.
Most families come to me feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, and wanting to do the right thing for someone they love.

“Are all of these medications really necessary?”
“Could these medications be causing what we’re seeing?”
“Is there a safer, simpler way to manage this?”
Review your loved one’s full medication list (prescriptions, OTCs, and supplements) to reduce medication burden
Identify unnecessary, duplicative, or high-risk medications
Create a clear, personalized medication plan you can actually follow
Support conversations with your loved one’s existing medical team
The result is a safer, more simplified approach to care — and peace of mind for your family.

“My goal isn’t to take you off your medications and replace them with a cart full of supplements.
My goal is to simplify, clarify, and right-size your regimen so you can live with more safety, balance, and quality of life.”
